If you like Cream Cheese Frosting, I suggest you try Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosting. It’s rich and silky, perfect for any dessert, but mostly for chocolate cakes.
The process of making Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosting is exactly the same of making Cream Cheese Frosting, except you add cocoa powder in the recipe.
For best results, make sure your cream cheese and butter are at room temperature. And don’t forget to sift the icing sugar and cocoa powder to prevent any lumps.
Ingredients:
- 500g cream cheese
- 175 g unsalted butter
- 250g icing sugar
- 50g cocoa powder
- 2 tsp vanilla paste
Steps:
Beat together cream cheese, butter and vanilla until smooth.
Gradually add sifted icing sugar and cocoa powder.
Whip until powder is fully incorporated.
This creamy and smooth frosting is ideal for any cooled cake or cupcake. Even good to eat with a spoon 🙂
It holds its shape for piping perfectly!
Enjoy!
